IFFAS 2024 Local Congress Committee provides a variety of Tour Programs where you can feel and experience Korean cultures first-hand.

Tour Reservation Deadline: 25 April 2024, all dates are based on Korean Local Time (GMT +9hrs).
Minimum person for each tour program: 20 People, the tour programs are subject to change or cancelled if the minimum persons are not reached and it will be noticed individually to the indicted email above.
Tour confirmation letter will be sent when the details are fixed such as minimum persons are reached.
Tour programs and itineraries are subject to changed later due to local circumstances.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
For reservation changes and cancellations, please email it to the tour bureau.
For the payment by credit card, it will refund without additional fees however, in case of refunds by bank transfer, bank fees will be deducted from the refunded amount.

Ikseon-dong Hanok Village (Wearing School Uniform) is a museum and experience center where visitors can learn about traditional Korean food. The different tteok (rice cakes) that were prepared and eaten on Korean holidays. Also on display are the various tools that were needed to create the tteok. The museum also offers classes on how to make tteok.
Gwangjang Market was the first permanent market in Korea and continues to thrive as a popular tourist destination today. The name Gwangjang means "to gather from afar and keep altogether." The market is a large wholesale market selling a variety of goods, including upholstery, imported goods, groceries, dried fish, traditional goods, and more. It is also one of the most recommended tourist attraction for international travelers.

Changdeokgung Palace is a grand royal residence located east of Gyeongbokgung Palace. It is the best preserved of the remaining Joseon palaces. By almost everyone's estimation, Changdeokgung is the most beautiful and best preserved among Seoul's half dozen palaces. Indeed, the historical significance of the palace and the adjacent "Secret Garden" were underestimated until designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Myeongdong is Korea's famous shopping and fashion district. Shoppers can enjoy total shopping and dining experiences at the pedestrian-friendly (/car-free) zone in Myeongdong. Lotte Tower is a 555-metre (1,821 ft) 123-story Megatall skyscraper. It opened to the public on April 3, 2017, and is currently the tallest building in South Korea and the sixth tallest in the world. The Seoul Sky Observatory is located at the top of the Lotte World Tower.

Gyeongbokgung Palace was built as the primary palace of the Chosun Kingdom by its founder, King Taejo in 1395, and it has a meaning of “shining happiness”. Keunjeong-jeon, the royal throne hall is Korea's largest surviving wooden structure. Kings conducted state affairs, held official functions, and received foreign envoys here.
Insa-dong, located in the heart of the city, is an important place where old but precious traditional goods are on display. There is one main road in Insa-dong with alleys on each side. Within these alleys are galleries, traditional restaurants, teahouses, and cafes. There are traditional performances and exhibits as well. This is where they can experience and see traditional Korean culture first-hand, and purchase pieces of fine art.

Korean Folk Village is a living museum type of tourist attraction in the city of Yongin, a satellite city in the Seoul Metropolitan Area in the province of Gyeonggi in South Korea. The purpose of the Korean Folk Village is to display elements of traditional Korean life and culture. Real houses from across the country were relocated and restored to create a replica of a village from the late Joseon period. Events such as celebrating seasonal changes and traditional performances are held.
Suwon Hwaseong Fortress is a fortification surrounding the centre of Suwon, the provincial capital of Gyeonggi-do, in South Korea. It was built from 1794 to 1796 by King Jeongjo of the Joseon dynasty to house and honour the remains of his father, Prince Sado. Sado had been executed by being locked alive inside a rice chest by his own father King Yeongjo after failing to obey a command to commit suicide. The fortress and enclosed palace were designated as a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1997.

Imjingak is where the "Freedom Bridge" lies. Crosses the Imjin river, it is a former railroad bridge which was used by repatriated POWs/soldiers returning from the North. It is more famous,however, and until 1998 was the only point of egress in the western sector other than Liberty Bridge (which was controlled by the South Korean Army) onto the DMZ.
The 3rd Tunnel is one of four known tunnels under the border between North Korea and South Korea, extending south of Panmunjom. It was apparently designed for a surprise attack on Seoul from North Korea, and could, according to visitor information in the tunnel, accommodate 30,000 men per hour along with light weaponry. A total of four tunnels have been discovered so far, but there are believed to be up to twenty more.
Dora Observatory is on the South Korean side of the 38th parallel. Situated on top of Dorasan (Mount Dora) in Paju, the observatory provides scenic views across the Demilitarized Zone. Visitors are able to see the North Korean propaganda village situated in the DMZ, and can also see the city of Kaesong. The observatory is very close to the Third North Korean Infiltration Tunnel dug by North Koreans into the South. The Dorasan Station, also nearby, is designed to be the station that connects the railroads of the South and North one day in the future.
The War Memorial of Korea is a large memorial that commemorates the victims of the Korean War and other wars throughout the history of the country. When the memorial was opened on June 10, 1994 it was the largest of its kind in the world. It took the hard work and research of countless numbers of experts from all different fields to make this museum possible.
